ValentineLaSolitude

Wrote this on valentine's day, juz thought I post it still...

Days of such has never been merrier,
Time comes when Valentines Day arrive,
A rose held by the gentleman around,
Love letters written profoundly by the ladies..

Within the envelope lie drops of blood,
To be fair enough to the single souls,
Who always seems to be forgotten,
By the souls that are no longer half..

It's tragic to see how human really are,
To believe that no one else matters...
More then them or their other half,
When in love, there's just so much you can't see..

I'm sick and tired of love,
To get my heart broken yet another time...
I don't want a fairy tale ending,
I just want a modern day affair..

On this Valentines Day,
La solitude the poem that inspires me,
To write one about the single souls instead,
That seems to be forsaken for so long...

Valentine's the day that haunts single souls like me...
As the past lingers and never fades...
Broken promises made of love...
Just seems to haunts you even more when he's gone...

Have you forgotten the promise you made?
That we will forever and ever be,
But now you left me here broken,
Not knowing how fragile my heart is..

Tempted by the kindness of yours,
That I forgot for a moment that you aren't real,
As a fiction of my imagination,
I just couldn't believe that you never were..

On this Valentines Day,
The day you went away,
As I write this poem in solitude and wonder,
If he ever exist, the valentine of mine..
