One Wave of Numbness

One more wave of numbness
Enters my brain
Slows down my heart
Keeps me half sane

One more wave of numbness
To hide the pain
I know not what I've lost
But I know what Ive gained

One thing I've gained
Thats all I get
Just one more reason
Reason to regret

I regret believing
In something that's better
Got to buckle at my knees
Before I pull myself together
