Remain

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Mar 5, 2008

I took off my armor
And got stabbed in the heart
Counting the moments that remain
Before the bleeding starts

Lets talk about remaining
Remaining intact
Ill smile and be happy
Because I know how to act

I think I can just
Just disappear
It wont be so easy
With the memory so clear

This heart has been broken
It will be repaired
Broken glass in my blood stream
My judgment impaired

This is my poem
The one with emotion
Time moves by so fast
When you're stuck in slow motion
