Leaves of Autumn

Leaves of Autumn

Leaves of autumn change their color,
Slowly fading into the night.
Men of power and of valor,
Swiftly age and lose their might.

No matter the prestige they hold,
Nor wisdom of the ages know,
Of all the world's silver and gold,
Or flawless beauty they bestow,

Everyman will meet his fate;
In hell's fierce flames or heaven's gate.
