I will remember You

by zaheer   Mar 8, 2008

She left but didn't take a few things -
Her smile and the Black Jacket we
Share together hiding from the storm.
She left her hugs and warm embrace and her perfume
scent on my pillow.
She didn't take her make- up kit and a few pair of jeans
And the kisses she gave me before leaving to work.
Her favorite ankle boots is still on the rack.
She forgot our picture we took out in the park,
And the times we fed the pigeons together.
Her cards are still there, and our knitted love cushion is still on the chair.
I still feel her love and whispers in my ear.
Her breath and heart next to mine,
I will remember you-
our love until the end my time.

Nice job! Very poignant and hurtful words, it's too durable to overlook our true love one.

    Anyways, your poem was extraordinary!
