Myths

A book of poems
is like a books of lies.
With rhymes and phrases you
Have never heard.
Like fairytales where the prince rides a steed.
To save the princess from the witches evil deeds.

There is no Prince Charming
And no Cinderella dress
There are no mice that sing and march around
The home of an evil countess.

There is no dragon that needs to be slain.
There are no seven dwarfs with the weirdest of names.
There are no suits of armor that can shield you from the pain.

There are no fairytale lands with princes and paupers.
There is no place filled with butterflies and birds.
And no Sheppardâ??s who sing great songs to his heard.

You make your own endings
Itâ??s all up to you.
You donâ??t need a prince charming.
You know what to do.
