Life Just Isn't The Same

by Vanessa   Mar 11, 2008

These tears, staining my face, will not stop flowing,
I am lost and i do not know where I am going.
My emotions bare, twisting like a dull knife,
How the hell am I going to live, without you in my life?

In silent moments, my eyes find your photograph,
your crooked smile, silly face, still makes me laugh.
Then I think back to the times that we have shared,
I realize that I never showed you how much I cared.

I took each day for granted, more would come my way,
But in you absence. I am speechless, what can I say?
The tears that keep flowing, are cried in vain for you,
Without you, all my skies are dark instead of blue.

My soul is aching, my tattered heart beyond repair,
I live for the memory of the moments we shared.
Here in the shadows of yesterday, I call your name,
If for nothing but to remind you life isn't the same.

This poem was better than the one I just read, I think I could fee more emotion in this, maybe that was the problem with the last one, for me.

Once again, good words, good lines good rhymes. Lines I espically liked were 'Without you, all my skies are dark instead of blue.' and 'My soul is aching, my tattered heart beyond repair'. Both were worded rather well, I thought.
