What I Cannot Say

Going through the motions,
Of yet another day.
My head is filled with thoughts,
Of what I cannot say.

I am the strong one,
The secure and faithful friend.
Nothing can get me down
I'm with you till the end.

Call me on the phone
To talk about your fight.
You can cry, scream, and yell
I'll stay with you all night

Pull me in the corner,
And say we have to talk.
I'll cut class to listen
And through the town we'll walk.

Slap me on the face,
And say you don't know what to do
I'll hug and calm you down
I'll always be here for you

I'm here through good and bad,
Through all the hurt and pain.
I'll always listen as you talk,
And I'll tell you whose to blame.

But just one question may I ask,
Whose the one that�s there for me?
I'm torn apart, plain as day
Are you all to blind to see?

Who am I suppose to turn to,
When life gets me down?
Who will dry all of my tears,
And turn my around my frown?

These are the things I keep inside
Every single day
These are the thoughts that fill my head
Of what I cannot say
