Dancing Silence

by BrokenREALiTy   Mar 14, 2008

A question looms between two lovers;
Oblivious to each others' longing stares.
She gives a fleeting look with desperate pleas;
His voice a trance as he begins to leave.

Six months apart, not one word uttered,
(Their phantom affection, a trinket of ghosts;
Now they're back with flirting flames,
Circling victory with every bullet set.

She throws a smile; he forgets to breathe,
But glances back with matched desire.
He stops her heart; she embezzles his,
Their love, a love descended into tragedy.)

[[They were never meant to be together]]
But still, with foolishness they whisper.

**First poem in over half a year; forgive the awkwardness of the poem: It seems that I cannot write well unless my own love life is at ease or has concluded itself and well, the discord has been going for months. So any advice, would be helpful + appreciated. Thanks for reading.

    Amazing piece, as are the rest of your poems. I love reading your poems. And there's definitely nothing wrong with it. It's perfect as it is and simply amazing. Your descriptions are so detailed and the emotions given are relateable. a poem too amazing for words - a well deserved 5/5. :]
