A Violent Storm Inside

"A Violent Storm Inside"
Written by: Red Lady

Nothing can satisfy the loneliness within. Days are passing, and with each I feel their pain. Every hour I am haunted by unseen shadows; harrowed by the knowledge that hope is nevermore. Swallowing gasps of air, but only sand flows in, depriving my tongue of moisture. Grit clings to my fingernails, and I am no more.

Beating my face, the storm rages on, intent on thwarting my success. Will I have my demise? Will I continue to stay calm in this cespool of humanity's self-righteousness? I can hardly manage to hold my eyes shut, much less keep them open through this onslaught of feverous wind.
