The Secret Life.

by Brittany   Mar 15, 2008

There's so many things I wish I could tell you.
But I don't want to be making a mistake,
By taking a chance on you.
There this part of me that just can't see that part of you.
A part of me knows I'll never be a part of you.
I'll never have all the things that I'm wanting to.
And I know it's just a waste to sit here,
And try to talk it out
My friends don't know you like I know you,
And I don't know you like they know you,
So how can I sit here and solve this on my own?
Vicious circles swallow my mind,
As impressionable ideas begin to rise.
Your face, your voice, just your presence,
And you've got me
But I'll never have all of you,
Or the piece of you I want.
We've already started and new beginnings aren't for us,
Or so it seems on days like today.
Everything changes when we're high on night air,
But on days so solid and confining,
My secrets could never be told,
And your secret life remains in the shadows of my mind.
