Kids Among the Sky

by Aaron Deevers   Mar 15, 2008

Lets watch as the sun sets among the hills
Stare as the stars fill the sky
Feel the cold air blows in
Lets see if a star flys free
One for us to wish among
Watch as the constellations form
Seeing if we can find each one
Playing games having fun
Among the night sky we are
Kids we are in heart
Adults we are in reality
We live each day and night
Having fun like kids again

I love the whole concept of the poem. It's always nice to be able to share the worlds beauty with a friend, soaking it in.
I do believe you may have meant constellations instead of consolations, but I could be wrong. You have done a wonderful job with this piece and I love reading your work.
