I try to hide
In the midst of my sorrow I languish
In the steep darkness of my tide
Swept away in the quickness of its current

Lost in the tranfusion
Listening to the angels sing
Their melody entrancing as I close my eyes
Enclosing me in their watchful countenance.

Kneeling in this puddle
The rain begins to gently fall
I'm sinking; submerged in the cold
The water is up to my shoulders...

Still I hide from my soul
Trying to decipher the messages of time.
In quicksand I am thwarted
In its texture; my moisture is drained.

Still I can see white forms encircling me
Calling my name
Urging me to try... to try to reach for their aid.
For they are waiting for me to enter in
And become one with their circle
Their Truth.

I lift my head and wail
Tears just adding to the water
It grows and consumes to my neck
The clouds above me rumble
Slowly they search the sky
And it's like I can feel it, too, seaches me.

A hole breaks through the darkened atmosphere
To keep from choking I focus on it's Light.
Heaven, shine your light down on me
These dancing angels
Who minister to my needs
Cannot act without Your voice.
Trembling I am before You.
Cold, I come bearing my breaking soul.
Heaven shine your light down on me
These singing angels
Who reach out to touch me
Can only bring me out
If I let them.

Lost and bleeding I came to You
And You alone could heal my wounds.
Depraved and vile my mind wept
And You were the One who sanctioned me.
Inept... I am
Complete I am in You.
