I thought it would be different to date a girl
she put butterflies in my stomach, my head in a whirl
and she was beautiful too,
i thought it was a dream come true
but if something is to good to be true it is
i fell for her, and i fell hard
i hated it when we were apart
but when we were together all we did was argue
but we always made up with an i love you
this time that won't happen

my girlfriend broke up with me because i went to a party without her last night. which is really stupid because she lives two houses down from were the party was. so I'm giving up on love. i just wish i could find someone to love and to hold, someone who understands me.
