We met at night, you
Were black as night,
Black as death.
In my arms you were
Small, even then u knew
You would be suss.

As the months past, you
Grew you even met my family,
Who lived many hours away.
One day we got a bed.

That night we slept even closer
I was afraid and you were calm
We grew even closer. You were
Bigger and still as suss as the
Day I got you.

Then again we moved,
We had a bigger place.
You loved it. So vain were you

Then another day came and we
Moved, NSW here we come.
You cried and cried. You stopped
When you slept on the dash,
With the rising sun.

Now were both a bit older,
I don't know what's happening
With you please tell me.
