Veiled One

by Alex Wong   Mar 18, 2008

Feelings of disadvantage and loss characterizing me,
Withdrawing my heartfelt soul,
Experiencing such a dreaded emotion guiding my grieved tears,
Nothing at all can replicate my countenance,
Inspiration becoming unperceptive until my consciousness,
Lingering on to the notion that you're giving love,
Helping me find the splendour.
A spirit of periodic depression sulks while finalizing with a change,
It's every time of your arrival,
Where my feet are back on the ground,
I regret my undeserved fault and realize,
Denying the joy in hand is out of the question,
The special fixation was retrieved,
While I must limit this fear.
Summoning up my courage to cheer you up,
never keeping it bottled inside.
Your presence blew out my solitude,
Frankly removing my pretence.
This much meaning for me,
I cannot evade anymore,
I know I love you deeply as it is truth along our journey...

Isn't love a wonderful feeling? Regardless of the emotions it portrays in each of us, we all have our own way of describing it. I believe you have done just that. You have described the pure emotions of love. I look forward to reading more of your work. Keep up the great job.
