Tears

by Alex Wong   Mar 12, 2008

Tears,
Welling in my eyes,
Feeling it stung on my eyelids,
Coursing down my heart and soul,
The ache somehow still crushing unceasingly,
Desperation almost writing themselves around my face,
Sense of grievance lingering thoroughly,
Letting emotions ruled my senses,
My,
Strenuous mask crumbling abruptly,
Revealing that I'm emotionally fragile,
Enveloping the broken heart with the indescribable solitude,
Living always in this void dimension,
Resembling marooned at an isolated place,
Which out of anticipation that would be my locality,
Anyhow,
Wishing there was always one stood for me,
Lending one’s warm palm,
As a gain for balancing my hurt soul,
Much indebtedness utterly owning by “one”,
Alas it's proving futile,
As,
There's always no one knew the better of me,
Which I wished almost for a millennium.

This piece speaks many volumes of sadness. There are a couple of grammar mistakes in it but other than that the piece takes on it's own personality much like the subject of it's poem. You have done a great job with this work. I admire someone whom can write prose as opposed to a rhyme scheme. I find it quite difficult to write prose without it sounding silly. I love this piece and look forward to reading more from you. Take Care, Kay
