To all I love

It's better if I'm gone,
I know I don't belong.
I think it is my time to die,
I always seem to make up a lie.
So as I'm fading away,
In my head I replay,
My entire life with all the pain.
All the loss and all the shame.
I wish I could've fixed everything,
My heart was held in a sling.
But, when I can't do anything right,
My mind and heart put up a good fight.
I know now that nothing will get better,
So I'm starting to write my death letter.
