Me, Myself And I

by Pamela G   Mar 20, 2008

Me, Myself and I

When loneliness become my best friend
No love without happiness can understand
Marriage is only a dream that never last
Leaving you is the brave thing I did for my heart

I love you...was only words you said
But the passion from you I hardly met
All you consume was the money in your pocket
It was my action to move on and stay separate

You are mad and there will never be forgiveness
I was tired of seeing your way of selfishness
Without me in your life, I hope you meet your need
Confusion of crystal tears I will let it be

Time will heal all wounds and pain
The thought of you make my tears drop like rain
Deep in my heart, my love for you will never end
But I have to choose between you and someone else

Someone who will always be there when I'm in need
Someone who love me with unconditional love
Someone who never hurt me with never ending love
Her name is me, myself and I

This one struck close to home...I've gone through this myself. When love is replaced by selfishness...and passion replaced by greed...we sadly admit that our one true love must be ourselves. A very heartfelt piece that many can relate to. 5/5

Thank you so much for your comment congratulating me on my win...it is greatly appreciated :)
