Save Me, From Myself

by imaginenation   Mar 21, 2008

The spring sun shines
I've lost my mind
So close at once,
now it's left behind.

They say I've changed
I don't believe them
Are they the same?
Because I don't see them.

The turn of seasons
Is my cruel reminder
that my life's going up in flames.
I don't know if I'm the same.

The sun shines on, but my dream is gone.
Save me... from myself.
I don't know what to be
because, what do they want to see?
God only knows...
it's not the real me.

My cover-up is believable
that I'm full
of everything I need.

But the scarlet blood flows from my aching veins
Save me... from myself.

Wow. This is really good. I like the flow. The words make me think. They're like myself. Keep writing, it's very good. :)
