Almost Lovers Always Friends 2

by Becca   Mar 21, 2008

I look at you from a distance
Thinking about your soft touch
You can't look me in the eyes anymore
And I just miss you so much
You sense the tears I've cried
The ones meant for you
But you remain silent
To your girl, you stay true
And I respect you for that
But i still get that feeling
From that night we were together
Still knowing, but never revealing
And your girl gets suspicious
Whenever I walk in
She see you looking at me
Almost Lovers, Always Friends

I know you get jealous
When he puts his arm around me
You try to hold it in
But I know what I see
And when you kiss her
It destroys me inside
That should be me
It gets me everytime
So when our paths cross
We lose all control
Our eyes meet
And no one will ever know
I know what you're thinking
But we are interrupted once again
Because my boyfriend wants us to go
Almost Lovers, Always Friends

There's a knock on my door
And I open it up to you
You start pacing the room yelling
Asking what did I do
You said this wasn't supposed to happen
This wasn't supposed to be
This wasn't supposed to be confusing
And you weren't supposed to fall in love with me
You say we have to stay away from each other
But that you couldn't pretend anymore
I grab you and kiss you
Then you gently lay me on the floor
I said I can keep a secret
Because I didn't want it to end
We have a nonverbal agreement
Almost Lovers, Always Friends
