Estranged

You from me
And me from you
This is simply not
How it was meant to be
I try so hard
To keep the chains together
But they still managed
To pull apart
We've chosen our paths
You two have your own families
So nothing else matters
And it's something I don't have
Now we're torn
Going seperate ways
And can't make time
Our relationship, I mourn
Everything I plan
Blows up in my face
The pieces fall mockingly at my feet
Maybe I just don't understand
I feel so alone
I probably don't have the right
Nothing is the same
Look at how far apart we've grown
I tried to keep us from being estranged
But I guess it's just too late
If this is how it's meant to be
Then I guess it'll never change
