A Glimpse of Love

by Becca   Mar 21, 2008

He appeared out of nowhere
He walked through the door
With a beautiful smile
That could stop hearts
I was feeling hurt and broken
But his voice was soft and sweet
As his eyes gave me a once over
I could tell he was into me
He was beautiful inside
A wonderful spirit
As his suave fingers
Moved like velvet
Across the keyboard
And I danced across the floor
My fiery red dress flaring
Spewing out passion
As I moved majestically
And gracefully
I can feel his eyes on me
Watching closely
Like a fantasy
It was so sensual
But not sexual
So magical
And so much more
It completely changed me
Experiencing this glimpse of love
Though we barely spoke
And conversation was limited
But I never knew his name
Never knowing that
I'd never see him again
he said his goodbye
Leaving me with memories
Of his soothing smile
And vanished forever
