This Silly Little Thing Called Love

I doubt you will ever read this,
My silly little poem for you
My writing may come off as stupid,
But know; it all is true

I'm not the best at saying things,
I find it hard to rhyme
So I've dropped it altogether
I think I can do it this time

Over a year ago I met you,
A chance one thousand to one
From that day, I've been in love with you
You were my "Burning Sun"

Although I've never once held you close,
Never seen your beautiful Eyes
I can still look up at the Shining Stars,
And know we see the same Skies

I know this is really cheesy,
My silly little poem for you
But I want to express my endless love
And this is all I could think to do

My heart is growing each day,
Filling with this burning passion
Never before have I had a guy like you,
The others, left in one fashion

It hurts me to hear you say
"I haven't a heart to give,"
For I would cut mine straight from my chest,
If it meant that you would live

I'm reading this through,
And I'm turning red
I'm somewhat embarrassed for my awkward manner
But I know that this must be said;

I know how unlikely it is that we'll meet
Across the Globe you rest
But someday I will get to you,
Putting my Love to the test

I understand how you must feel
That girl, she broke your heart
But my love; it's different,
A brand-new work of Art

If I have something to say,
Why don't I ... just say it?
I can't find the right words to use,
You were always the "Vocabulary Wit"

I'm running out of space now
I hope this will suffice,
Remember my Love is endless
Even if your heart turns cold as ice

I cannot let go of you
You're the one I chose
So, here's my heart, don't break it
If you do, my circle just might close
