You left me here, with hopeful words

Speaking of love and compassion

How you missed me

How I'm broken now, confused and falling apart

Yet you wouldn't know, you have no care or thought of me

If you did, surely there would be a phone call from you

To at least tell me if you love me, if you can't stand me

If you still want me, or if you just didn't think it would be a big deal to leave me hanging for so long

I don't know who ever thought it would be okay to ignore the one you love just because you're away for a while

If you could ever know of the agony that you've put me through, if you could feel it, you would be dying too

You always said, "baby, you can count on me."

No, I can't

You are nowhere to be heard

And I must leave you as a memory until you acknowledge me once again as your own
