Too Far...

by Neme juste un jouet   Mar 23, 2008

Huddled in the corner
of a mind that cannot decide
whether to laugh at all this misery
or cry...
She idly runs her hands across numb arms,
wishing to bring warmth to them,
though they freeze from the inside out.
Such a cold heart, pumping all that frozen blood
its no surprise she cannot feel when you kiss her cheek
and whisper I love you in her ear.
All she can do is draw closer to that corner,
place her cheek against the wall,
and try forever...
to feel.
You could drag her away, into the sun of the day
or into the fires of ruin
and she would be unable to feel the burn,
only be chilled by a heart broken.
You could try though,
to make her feel the fire of passion,
the fury of hate,
but all she can feel
are these tears that try to get out.
Can you see?

Somethings,
Some things,
are not right
And she can only stare without thought ahead,
her gaze really searching that past
and seeing pass you...

"please love me... please... I have given my heart to too many people who would not... but can you? Please..."
