Too Much Of A "Friend"

by Ian Havok   Mar 25, 2008

You tore my chest right open
And ripped out my bleeding heart
I don't know why I opened up to you
I should've seen this from the start

"We're still supposed to be friends", you say
"That's how we started out"
But friends don't hurt each other like this
That's not what friends are about

It's a good thing I'm a master at pretend
Or else you would have known
My feelings for you, you can't imagine
And I'll never let it show
