This is how i write

by deadly sun   Mar 27, 2008

My fingers meet the keys
like a lovers gentle touch
i dance and play around with them
I want to write so much

Words run through my mind
Like the cars flying through the street
As soon as they hit paper
I feel a sudden relief

But that is not enough
More words must come down
I mutter each sentence to myself
Searching for the right sound

Every time I find one
I mutter it once again
After the second muttering
Most sentences don't sound the same

So still I keep on searching
Looking for that hard to find word
My mind is going so fast now
My vision begins to blur

Finally I slow
As I bring the poem to an end
Another written disaster
But I have created a new friend

^ lol. that drives me nuts. it all pours out so fast and then stops and doesn't sound right. rather bothersome.

great job in capturing what it is to write. keep it up. ^.^
