Gypsy blood

by Ares   Mar 28, 2008

Father can you hear me pray,
I took the life of my son today,
he didn't live in our family world,
he fell in love with his gypsy girl.

but he knew they lived in houses of mud,
he knew how I felt about gypsy blood,
I couldn't sit there and watch him drown,
they sleep now under six feet of ground.

yes, he knew what I felt about gypsy blood,
he was such a marvelous stud,
he would end up like a circus freak,
I saw his mind grow painfully weak.

but what have you done?
he was your oldest son,
reveal where you hid your evil gun,
your journey to hell has just begun.

oh...God is not with you tonight.

This is really good! A fabulous story and cry for help...magnificent! I love it! The only thing is that the last two lines of third stanza sound a bit written...but really, this is an excellent poem.
