A Love Divine

by Christy   Mar 28, 2008

My heart tugs me from left to right,
My breathe begins to sway.
Before my eyes are miracles,
That you just can't give away.
So long and carried in the palm,
Of a lover so divine.
Wrapped my heart with bows and bells,
And simply called him mine.
A usual sky so full of stars,
Melts into shades of blue.
I embrace myself within the light,
And recall my thoughts of you.
With holes that need much mending,
Yet with a sparkle in ones eye.
Together needing air to breathe,
I let loose an empty cry.
With the past that seems so near,
Memories wrapped in sheets of gold.
I ponder why I am here alone,
Without that special one to hold.
For if my tears run a river,
And the waters carry me astray.
Just know my heart is yearning,
For you each and every day.

Wow. very well spoken. every phrase paints a picture in ones mind, as it did mine. what ever you do, do not stop writing. you got a sheer talent that needs to be expressed everyday of your life. keep the compassion that you have for writing.
