The Thing

by Hali Cararnza   Mar 29, 2008

She's running, running
Straight into the dark
Panting and crying
I can't make her stop

I try to comfort her
As the rain falls
It's so hard
And the darkness starts to call

And suddenly I see it
The monster of the dark
I've got to stop it
From getting to her

I fling myself at it
And I suddenly feel pain
I try to escape its clutches
As she lays in the rain

It slashes me
Till I can't move
But I gotta keep going
Or else I'll loose

Now it's punching
I can't get away
Someone help me
I feel so much pain

Now I'm dead
But what about her
Well she's dead too
I wish I could've saved her

You carried your story very well from start to finish. Very eerie tale.

    She's running, running
    Straight into the dark
    Panting and crying
    I can't make her stop

I picture this girl running for her life.
    Good job!
    Take Care Cindy
