His Color

My eyes bleed, not normal blood, for this runs deeper than my heart,

This is the blood of hopelessness, the blood of failure.

why is it that now, at such a time as this, that i run dry...empty?

how can i stop this river of blood? where does it begin?

Hell, why do i even try? NO ONE cares, why would they?

i am the shadow at the furthest corners of their world...

long ago i accepted lonelyness, so very long ago,

then one day, my eyes seen past the black and white,

into color, HIS color, wonderful beautiful color...

color that i can’t have...
