A frightful night

by viraz vitalia   Mar 30, 2008

Fitful sleep a normal night.
Tossing and turning.
Struggling for comfort.
Cold and darkness all I feel.
But a dream comes.
A terrible dream.
A dream of my worst fear.
I came behind you and said your name.
Not even the slightest notice.
I grabbed your shoulder.
You just kept walking.
I hugged you tightly.
But you slipped away.
I screamed out your name.
Not even a nod.
I tried to run.
But I had no legs.
I tried to reach.
But I had no arms.
I wanted to scream.
I had no mouth.
I was nothing.
I was invisible.
My worst fear.
Had come true.
