Saccharine Smiles

by xLaurax   Apr 1, 2008

Saccharine smiles and sleepless nights,
I lied when I said I was alright.
And though I say you're rather sweet,
Your heart is made up of concrete.
We've created nothing but an empty love,
Something I can't seem to grab hold of.
Your hand is loosening it's loving grip,
And I feel as if I'm about to slip,
Down to nothing, down to fear,
A place where I'll just disappear.
If you ever regret this at all,
Remember, you're the one who let me fall.
