The War

by xLaurax   Jul 10, 2008

Your heart is filled with bombs,
And my entire body is under attack.
All I want to hear is how long that you'll be gone
And if I should ever expect to have you back.
I don't think it's worth the effort
No, not one little bit,
To ask for your forgiveness
For a crime I didn't commit.
A little bit of kindness isn't too much to ask,
but I suppose that you're head is filled with pride.
I can't stand your constant comments,
But I have no choice but to abide.
Your body is strong and unbreakable,
But your eyes tell me otherwise,
They're the one place that I can see through
Your unmistakable disguise.
Your head is filled with uncertainties,
But your words are as painful as strife.
Although I know that it's too late,
I wish I could safe your life.
