A man of science or a servant of God

by Goodbye   Apr 1, 2008

If I would die
what would be left about me?
A pile of bones,
decomposed body and
a skull of mine?
Could it be
that would be everything
what would be left about me?

A brave Man of Science,
when you die:
Do you want to believe
that all your beautiful memories
and your dreams would die with you?

That is what they
teach us in school
Their view of afterlife
seems very hopeless for me
Could everything of me die?

What is the purpose of my life
if everything I have ever done
will have the same ending like others
no matter what we would have done
in this life we lived...

If I have to choose
who I prefer to be:
A man of Science
or a Servant of God
I prefer the last one..

will have the same ending like others
