Floating on the wind

by Amber Smith   Apr 1, 2008

The wind moans in the pines,
the river swirls,
by the bent grass,
and the stars hang,
above the broad plain,
the swirling great river,
the moon's a float,

Oh where's my name,
among the ranks,

Drifting,drifting,
what am i more,
than a single bird,
flying in the sky,
