A Wonderous Nightmare

Love, the word
Love, the sound
Love, the feeling
All things abound

Yet with it comes it
the nightmare inside
love, the wakening
to your greatest lie

You hear it
You feel it
You just cant see it
because its hidden
in a veil above

You dream her face
You smell her scent
You hear her voice
But never reach out
Never touching
Never caressing
Kept back and arresting

Hold the innocent love sick
keep her at the end of a rope
And remember her pouts
remember her shouts
Lie and deceit
to get your greatest defeat

Yet you wake up with her
and see it all a dream
because as you hold her softly
All you can do is love
and blindly follow it

Because the pain is worth it.

    O__O I never thought that nightmares can be wonderful but GREAT poem!! I can just imagine sleeping and having a nightmare like that.. But I don't wanna sleep beside a boy!! Hehe..
