Just a kid

by Lexi Lou   May 23, 2004

I know I'm young
but i yearn to be older
maturity's come
but there's always that bolder
it's not just a stage
everyone judges me by age
you think i don't know
you try to mold me like dough
my opinion means squat
gee thanks a lot!
i even see
a young girl, hey thats me
and i know when i am 23
ill think how young i used to be
how much i didn't know
without teenage years we'd never grow
I'm young
but don't judge me by age
my talent isn't something
you can bound in a cage
my feelings aren't something thats fake
and you could learn a lot from my "kid" intake
I'm learning right now who i want to be
you think just a kid, well there's more to me
