From me to thee

A prayer upon you, whilst you lay
From me to thee
Gone from me,thee left so rapid,lived so young and died as such
Embedded by earths yellow sunshine and the skies deep sea
Missing thee deeply and dearly
Not more than life but just as much
Your backyard your playground,your garden your life
Leaving so many,bringing so few
People left behind have memories so few
More dear to me than your second was your first wife
Though you hurt her
She goes on and you behind with your life a new
I only saw you but once in a blue moon
And your memory I have tried my hardest to keep intact
Though I know you left us all too soon
Your memory fades and pictures remain,this is a fact
For so short a time on this earth did you live
But all your children
Including my mother and beautiful garden you did give
