THE SHOW

by rain05   Apr 4, 2008

As the curtains fall and
the beat of the trumpets fade.
Stirs of laughters
behind the shadows cascade.
Gone are your days
of glitter and glamor.
Forgotten by the children
of yesteryears wonder.
Unlike a picaso
that stood the test of time,
No one remembers
the brilliance of your shine.
Like a bleak moment in history,
Lost now and forever gone.
Soon the few who remembers you,
In time shall succumb.
You had your shot for glory,
But thats now in the past.
These seats are now empty,
And you have served your last lot.
The lights are all dim
And the posters are now gone.
Tomorrow you no longer stand,
To give birth to a new store.
But you have served your purpose
You did it with much grace.
And for that I will remember you
Even if in time you shall fade.
