Bad Deed

Lies between the lines,
Betrayal in the shadows.
Trust broken on a word,
Relationships shattered on a dime.
Love dies as a heart is broken,
A rose falls as a lover dies.
A man walks alone,
Through the cold night.
His intentions unknown to the innoccent eye.
Deceit in his mind,
Death on his hands,
Guilt in his eyes.
Only he knows of her misfourtune.
So he walks alone to forget his deed,
While her face haunts him in the night.
