Sick or sane

by RonRon   Apr 5, 2008

An ample amount of medication for a sickness unknown
concoction of pills taken which varies different results
white ones, wont let you sleep
the blue ones, leaves drowsiness
and the yellow makes you feel dry
some have side effects never advertised
swallow them all to wallow the life
there will be no more of hearing voices late at night
no more shadows, no more strangers knockin' on doors,
or peeking at windows... keeping an eye.
they will all soon be gone.
you could smell the blossoming of daisies and daffodils in bloom
and finally touch the rain, once again.
but they're too dull still, just plain lame
and not enough to keep us sane.
