Innocence of a Blade

by Hali Cararnza   Apr 5, 2008

Sitting there and cutting
She looks to the sky
Wishing she could be happy
ONE LAST TIME
She wonders what will happen
When she finally does it
When she takes that knife
And jabs it in her throat
Or maybe her chest
She really doesn't know
She starts to cry
And writes a letter
Telling why she wanted to die
Because no one made it better
She takes the knife
And says one last goodbye
She jabs it in her heart
And she falls
When they finally find her
They see her letter on the wall
They cry and cry
And wish they could've helped
They didn't want her to die
But it was already to late
Now they still know
To this very day
That a life can be taken
From the innocence of a blade
