Tango

by Ares   Apr 7, 2008

In the hallway,
of the Department,
lies little Valentine.

nothing ever worked as restitution,
at the very least her medicine.
and there is no cure for a broken heart,
she sings about how long they have been apart.

so she puts on a dress and a perfume from "Mango"
and she'll dance, dance,
her own sad version of tango.

she says "if you'll only be my man - then maybe you'll understand,
why I dance, dance,
this lonely version of tango."

I can already hear the tango ;) I think the writer of the poem loves the tango because he often refers to it ;)
