I'm dead afterall

by Carly   Apr 8, 2008

I lived in fear
One day too long
I thought it was right
But it turned out wrong
The charm he brought
Fooled me so well
He changed completely
And put me through hell
It happened one day
He used his fists
He spit in my face
And grabbed my wrists
He looked at me
Threw me down
Picked me back up
And pushed me around
I lost my breath
I started to bleed
He pulled out a gun
And forced me to plead
I begged for my life
But I knew it was done
Instead, he stopped
And dropped the gun
He grabbed my legs
And dragged me away
Into the bedroom
On the bed I lay
I'm cold and breathless
I try to escape
But he's choking me now
And it turns to rape
He has his way
Until my body is limp
He punches my face
And calls me a wimp
He screams in my face
And tells me he's won
But my voice just cracks
So he gets the gun
This time is different
My voice is too small
The trigger is pulled
And I'm dead after all
