Untitled

by Dead Is The New Alive   Apr 10, 2008

Darkness consumes you
Your wings once pure white
Now are black with despair
Tears fell down
Your porcelain face
Trying to stop but no success
Panic entered your eyes
For you couldn't find the door
Screaming and running
Through the dark to find the light
But there wasn't any
Lying down
You start to sink into the ground
Was it the ground or was it?
It smelled of fish, seaweed, and salt
This smell
Has been the smell of your true home
Love and happiness
Water hits your lips
You lick them
And smile
Opening your mouth to shout out in joy
Bubbles fly out everywhere
Eyes shot open
A bright light blinds you
The expression on your face was priceless
For you found the door
