Unshared peotry

The creative light with a dimming glow
is frozen stiff by the icy snow
no energy, no drive to go
is this my last? I do not know

her shadow dispersed into a mist
in confusion I clenched onto my fist
with her smile on top of my list
a smile on my face adds to the twist

she has gone and my heart bleeds again
her touch is lost and I'm left in the rain
the watery reminder washes away the pain
knowing back at home she will be happy again

as the birds flock away, I lift up my pen
the winds shatters my life into ten
who will read the poetry by then
as I think of a proper way to end

a blotch of ink from a pen of ivory
lays at the end of a joyful tragedy
will I see her again? there is no guarantee
as I end with her name on this unshared poetry
