There's this horrible truth

by SilentlyDyingInside   Apr 10, 2008

There's this horrible truth.

As she walks down the hall.
She sees everyone stare.
They know the horrible truth.
About what happens at home.
Her father beats her.
He mother hates her and swears at her.
She goes to school with bruises.
She cries at night.
She's afraid that someday he'll get too drunk and really hurt her.

There's this horrible truth.

It's a truth but the poem is not that well structured. I didn't find it very interesting...
