Pearl necklace

by Goodbye   Apr 11, 2008

A pearl necklace is the last
item that reminds me about him:
everything else I have throw away
I remember how he put it on me
He said "You are forever mine.
These pearls are telling me so."
I remember how my heart beated
so fast when his hands were near
my throat: memories don't always fade..
His word "mine!" was echoed in
my mind, I was terrified, but I tried
to look calm, I was screaming inside
I put again my pearl necklace and
I could felt his cold hands on throat
trying to choke me: I got got furious
I rip out the necklace, it broke, little
shiny pearl dropped on the floor
and start rolling everywhere
I throw the necklace from my hand to
rubbish pin..
I took a red lipstick and wrote the mirror
on the dressing room wall:
You will never come back again..

Gosh... pearls were right ...the hands that were trying to put them around had strange intentions or were trying to wear them the first time.... (Just joking).... Marvellous write
